@@Ballerzj I never listened to Nipsey. I listened to Dolph daily for years though. Nipsey def seemed like a chill dude and I can see why ppl considered him legend status. Wish I knew more about him. Just because we don't know what nipsey did, doesn't make him less any important or legendary as Dolph. Just my 2 cents. Nipsey was one of the goats too. RIP to them BOTH.
@Cardiakk2 жыл бұрын
@@Ballerzj Nipsey was more of a legend than Dolph, guy. When Jay Z buys 100 copies of your album, you're certified. Nipsey also had an elite pen and wasn't one dimensional. Could flow to any kind of beat. Easily in the top 100 lyricists ever. Let them both rest in peace tho.

I’m a 43 year-old man and this song makes tears in my eye er’ry time. I’m dealing with my pops going from preacher to alcoholic since my mom’s unexpected accidental overdose on OxyContin. Every time I get frustrated enough to say fuck it, I play this song. If I was a punk, I’d let him die; I’m to inherit 8 figures. But I can’t. I’m the one in the family that everyone gave up on because I took the pot. Fast forward, and my mom’s fatally overdosed subsequently turning my preacher father into an alcoholic like I’ve never seen. Lots of people say that, I’ve done time, I bartended all through college, and I’ve never seen anyone drunk this way. 4-5 skyy vodka bottles a week. Bars don’t go through that. Drives any and every where drunk. Someone’s gonna die if I don’t get him help. At the very least? Him. Slowly, over a long period with booze. Worse than putting your mouth on a gun. This song right here, my mom already OD’d, and my pops is next. But I won’t give up. I’m fighting, but I’m not a prayer - however my pops is; his first degree was in seminary from Missouri Baptist Bible College. Anybody’s prayers are welcome. The struggle is real.

I've listened to Dolph every morning for a couple years now for motivation to get up and get paid! It's hits so different now. RIP Young Dolph!

He was another type of rapper.. so down to earth. I just can’t get over that he is gone he. Dolph just kept it so real all the damn time and he never failed. Dolph always kept my head up and hearing him just always cracked a smile on my face and just motivated me to keep going.
