ok but like can we all take a moment to appreciate the interviewer? it was great to see that her actions and questions were really genuine (none of that "what's your favorite thing in/about/from America?" bs), not to mention the fact that she took the time to learn more about the group prior to their appearance on the network. I wish more reporters were like her and treated k-idols as the artists they technically are, not like a novelty just because they're foreign singers branching out into other countries' markets. it's truly refreshing, keep being awesome miss!

It's because in korea there is no "R" sound that's why they say mak or mok

in Japanese there's a mix of the r and l sound (it sounds like the Spanish pronunciation of r) and its probably hard for him to distinguish an English R and L sound.

I like this interview more than Billboard one, because this one really gives each member chance to speak. We can see how they are all understand English well tho, not only Johnny, Mark or Jaehyun only :). The host is really nice too. and I love that they have many session, interview and play the quiz together.

honestly, i think they are still nervous because they feel pressured to do these interviews in english, but they are doing them and putting a lot of effort. they try to include everyone to answer a question at least which is really great! personally i am very proud of johnny here, because he’s doing translations so fast ugh his mind. also haechan and taeyong’s english was good! our maknae is really improving (he was so nervous but it was so cute aw) these boys are sooo talented, they deserve the recognition they’re getting and i am just so proud🤧. thank you, young hollywood! i think this was a nice interview for someone who wants to get to know nct. looking forward to part 2!

I liked this interview more than the Billboard one because it showed more of NCT 127's diversity, language skills, and it seemed like they were more comfortable. I like Chelsea, but you can tell they opened up more here after the Billboard interview. I AM SO PROUD OF THEM!! Can't wait to see what's to come!

Bless YG's Pet Chicken I think having worldwide recognition especially in the USA could be more help than just being a recognised in Korea. I hate to bring this group in as an example but BTS made it big in the USA and gained global recognition before making it big in KOREA and now Korea is recognising that , I mean look at all the headlines they make in the news because they’ve become a global phenomenon. I think SM knows what they are doing by making NCT appeal to a larger scale audience than just Korea.
