I’m a novice container gardener, and was told to do the following, please plant the marigold with your veggies it keeps the bugs away from eating your plants n fruits, regular dawn soap water sprayed on plants can help the pests too or try neem solution to spray on them!

You harvest (pick fruit) in the Spring. It takes a while for asparagus to grow and they have to go through a chill season (cold temperatures). The same with strawberries, they would taste better next year. You may want to buy starters, if you want to eat strawberries this year. Some of the best channels, are CaliKim, Epic Gardening, Gardening with Randy. You can always direct sow your seeds. Cover with the gardening shade to keep the birds away, and you’ll be fine. Definitely do that with the strawberries!!! 😂

Really good vlog. Covering so many things. I like those type. Ivy eventually kills trees. Noticed some trees in your backyard has ivy attached to them. It's deprives the tree of its nutrients and water. Overtime it will kill a tree. Your peonies looks great!!!!!! One of my favs. Personally I wouldn't give up on your azaleas. Maybe put some granule time release fert on them. They look good to me. An azalea takes a little longer to develop a good root system. Unlike the " knock-out" rose. Trimming the knock-out of the extra long branches wouldn't hurt them a bit.

What a great video! I love watching all the things you do. Those jiffy starters that have the little pods in them are fantastic! When you put the lid on it, it helps keep the moisture in and get your plant started pretty quick. You can save the container and only buy the pods next time. When you go to plant your little starts, you just take the whole pod and plant it. Thanks for another great video.

Rosebushes and hydrangeas can be fertilized with with the same fertilizer. Put the fertilizer around the outside of the plant and work it into the ground since it’s getting ready to rain. This is a good time to do it.If you do not have rose fertilizer you can use plant zone good for all outdoor plants, trees, bushes.

Kayla, plant your marigolds in your veggie garden. They help with bugs that like to eat your plants.

Kayla there should be a clear plastic dome on your seed starts to keep the moisture in. It should have came with one. Also there is some kind of caterpillar or worm eating the leaves. Probably better treat your plants because they can kill your plants. Looks great though.

34:11 as you develop in your gardening journey you’ll learn what you like, I personally wouldn’t choose either. Ive learn through the years my preference is to use small nursery pots or solo cups. The large 72 count trays are a little tedious when it comes to up-potting plus seeds germinate at different rates, so I prefer to do everything separately. Start peppers indoors in February to get ahead start but I think u in the South so u should be okay 👍🏾

Hey, Mrs. Kayla!! Glad to see you guys back. You and Marcus look great. I love the yellow dress on you, it's so pretty! The yellow strappy heel is where it's at! I did want to add a note about the all the vitamins you're taking, before taking any new supplements I hope you're checking in with your primary care. I know you mentioned they suggested you switch from a women's multi to a prenatal, which does make sense. I found when I took those I had more benefits than a regular women's multi. Anyway, the reason I suggest checking in with your PCP is because some vitamins don't mix well with others and can potentially make a person ill. You can also get your blood work done to verify if you have vitamin deficiencies. I feel you about grabbing a bite after grocery shopping. Sometimes, I'll intentionally buy a quick bite from the deli at the grocery store as my after grocery shopping meal.
