I can relate to Merk on everything he puts out. 10 years ago I was sleeping in my truck in a target parking lot. I would cruise around and dream of one day having my own house and a wife and kids. Fast forward 10 years and I have everything. Million dollar home, rv, RZR, lifted duramax, home gym, badass pool etc. beautiful wife, 3 healthy boys. I own my own company and work when I want to. But something always feels like it’s missing. It’s fucked up, I got everything that I always dreamed about having and sometimes I still slip into my depression. I’m gonna keep focusing on my sobriety and be grateful for everything I have in life. 10 years ago I was eating canned fish and saltines in the back of a 72 Toyota pickup

Let me tell you something your mother raised you don't let her efforts go to waste I make alot of my decisions based on how I think they would make my parents feel and I have the mindset that If I fail they failed and they did a good job so I have to. I have 2 older brothers ( I'm the youngest) I know that she loved all 3 of us equally but with that said her and I we're still closer to one another. My dad was closer to my brother's more involved in their lives and not so much mine . My dad and I never really had that Bond . And once I was around 15 16 years old I started having a lot of medical problems. And it was ALWAYS my mom who was there with. In the emergency rooms hospital stays doctors appointments. I've had over 30 some surgeries and she was there for every single one. My dad came and visit me one time after my first surgery and that was it. My mom worked a full-time job just as well as my dad. And she still came home cooked , cleaned , homework showers or baths and got use to bed . And when I was sick and in hospitals she still did all of that and still found time or made time to come see me . It has always been me and my mom she was there when nobody else was there. I was told that I would never be able to get pregnant but I did. And besides me she's the ONLY one there for my son . My brother's or my dad have never been there for him he has no relationship with them as do I . So the ONLY ONE me and my son had was my mom . I know that I have to push through all my depression and anxiety so I can continue to be there for my son as my mom was for me . I jus don't know how to right now . Things are so hard. I can't work due to my medical I can't even get to the store hardly ever since I can't drive my car cuz I can't even afford to get tires. The only one I was able to rely on when I needed extra help where's my mom and now she's gone and I have no one . I jus feel so stuck . Ps. Sorry for the long rant 🤦‍♀️😔
