This picture is amazing it realy capture atmosfiere of mirrors edge far beter that game manage, i still like game but i was disapoited that world, story, atmosfere and characters just didnt manage capture that fealing when prologe comix was prety good. The game is also great, I played for the first time in February 2019 and this game is a masterpiece. Not sure why there was never a sequel to 2008 Mirrors Edge even though the ending tells that there will be a sequel which never happened (Yet). Catalyst is a reboot which I never played yet.

Alexstorm8840 Catalyst was really confusing It makes you ask why the hell mirrors edge 1 ever happened. “Who’s Pirandello Krueger? Why did Cat’s name change to Kate? Why was the shard rebuilt? What happened to the technology???” Imo, Catalyst was very poorly written, and lots of the things from mirrors edge 1 were ignored. The story, from a chronological perspective is really confusing. Mirrors Edge 1 did something catalyst failed at trying horribly.

I'm the artist who made the artwork YNAF used in the thumbnail and video. Even though these were just personal artworks I made around 2009 that were loosely inspired by Mirror's Edge, I'm glad to read comments from those here who like the vibe in relation to Mirror's Edge! I'm a big fan of the series to this day, and after coming back to this remix, I'm saddened to learn of YNAF's passing. He followed me on twitter for years and I remember him liking many of my posts! I noticed he stopped after a while, and well, now I know why. RIP man, I'm glad I could help provide some art backgrounds for your music!

I've been on a Nostalgia climb of Mirrors Edge as of right now and am just reminded how much I lived both games. Time flies. Probably not. EA are that kind of people that cared only about money (Mirror's Edge wasn't actually liked by a lot of people) and keep going making Battlefields and packs for The Sims 4. It would be cool if they make a new Mirror's Edge or a completely new game.

I remember playing the demo of this game on Xbox in 2008. I liked to listen to the menu song and the trailer music. I distinctly remember listening to them at night when all my friends got off. Now, it hits hard. The days of Halo 3 and Reach, Gears, Dead Space, Mass Effect, Battlefield, and CoD. I've had only a few games I can say I've loved over the last 10 years, but I had dozens around then. Game industry has fallen far from the tree of creativity and passion.
