We use a 150 grit zebra sanding band and have many great videos on removing different kinds of product.

Could you please share your workstation setup? What you keep handy, what and where supplies are stored?

We can share a bit, but it's probably not the ideal set up for working on clients. We have our station set up for filming. This is the desk we use. There are two drawers. In one we have all our acrylic powders, files, practice hand tips and liquid art. In the other we have all our hard gel, both pots and precision applicators, and our fiber gel. Both drawers also have nail forms in them. www.ikea.com/us/en/p/micke-desk-white-90214308/ We also have this set of drawers. The top drawer has our mission control gel paints, top coats and bases, extra e-file bits, nail glue, protein bond and pens/markers. Drawers 2-4 have all our glitters. Does the Safety bit medium also work ok on acrylic?

It does, but for removing bulk on acrylic, we would recommend the Safety Bit- Coarse as this will take down product quicker and easier than the Medium.

I'm having trouble with the sculpting gel process. The issue is the form. Once it's on, it's like I sweat or clammy hands. Is that normal. Otherwise I use tips

This can be a challenge for some people. We would recommend prepping the nails, cleanse the skin around the nails with Swipe and then apply 1-2 forms at a time. Sculpt the extension on these nails and then cleanse the next 1-2, apply the form and sculpt. Once you have built out the free edge and cured, you can remove the forms. This will usually give you enough time to sculpt the free edge before the skin gets sweaty again.

I have a question that really doesn’t have anything to do with this subject. If you use protein bond on the natural nails before using regular polish will it help from chipping and last longer? No gel or acrylic just natural nails and regular polish. I’m just curious

Yes, Protein Bond can help with adhesion of YN Polish

What application is better for someone that has to do hand washing a lot 🤔… gel or acrylic

We would recommend a hard gel enhancement as this would be non porous and can hold up better in water.
