Hey from UK again! How do you deal with sensitive clients and heat spikes if you don't have low power on lamp (don't say buy one as I've forked out a fortune this month) 😁🙃
@youngnailsinc Жыл бұрын
The amount of heat can be a result of either what product you are using or how much product you apply. For example, our Synergy Base has more resins in it to give better adhesion. Because of this, it has more heat during the chemical reaction. If you were to apply a thick layer of Base, you would get an extreme amount of heat with it, so we do not recommend building structure with it, just use a thin layer to get the foundation of the nail. With the rest of our gels, they are designed to build structure and thickness, so they can be applied thicker and not have as much of a heat spike. However, as with any chemical reaction, there is a certain amount of heat, so if you apply a large amount of product, you will feel that heat. This is why we recommend using the "low heat mode" on our UV/LED lamp. This will slow the curing process so you don't get that "spike."
@nails_by_courtneyjo95082 жыл бұрын
So you should completely do 2 nails at a time? Or do you just freeze them until your whole hand is done then fully cure for 60 seconds? I’m just now starting with gel
@youngnailsinc2 жыл бұрын
It depends on the temperature when you are working. If it's colder, then the gel won't run and you can get more nails done before curing. If it's warmer then the gel runs and you may be only able to do a few before you need to flash cure so it doesn't move and then can do more nails. Just make sure when you are flash curing that you are then fully curing each layer of gell.

Hi, I have a question. My gel has started to lift when I bought a new led light. Is it possible that the light isn't curing the gel properly? I have my old fluorescent light stil, and am going to try to do my next set with my old light. Have you heard of led lights that don't cure the gel properly? I never had a problem with lifting before I bought this smaller led light. So frustrated. So if you use an Led at low speed to cure do you have to cure again at full capacity for 60 seconds again to set fully? I think I even tried that and almost all of my gel lifted. IDK what I did wrong.
