I didn’t know how to shimmy it down and/or how much or how far to go there, I just really wanted to be able to drive the car again man. If there were a video or some sort of instructions I would when done it but otherwise I probably would have messed it up.

I did think you and anyone else that gives advice. Just had a pain trying to find a tensioner at all, let a lot buy one that we had go shimmy down perfectly. May be someone to do for the future, I just needed to get the car running.

I didn't know about this either. I just did some research and some light browsing. Stumbled across terminator-cobra.com. Joe has a wealth of information there including the tensioner which only needs 3 standard washers.

If I had to do it all over again I'll buy a Cobra strip it down and put all new parts on. Cause you will spend mad cash 💸 fixing this cars not equip from factory to handle the HP/TQ thrown at them!
