Ngl I can name a lot of cats who got on because of their street work/ popping in the streets. C Biz, Boost, RV, Headie, Fredo, C Montana, Giggs, Morrison, Snap, Stardom, Trizzy will soon be next, Asco, K Trap, Nines, the list is endless. These guys had a lot of street cats supporting them and because they were verified that what they were rapping about was real it made it much easier for them to get popping but Tef is also right, at the same time, you can't do both at the same time and expect for it to last, if you're active leave the rap shit alone, it's either or never the two, it doesn't mix.
