Just a heads up, if you go to the area of home depot that has like Propane line hookups and stuff, you can get the YELLOW thread seal tape that is formulated to stand up to most hydrocarbon based liquids like Gas, Propane, Oil. Maybe not all the white tape dissolves but I have had some that did when exposed to Kerosene and Gasoline. The yellow does not break down with gasoline though. I use that whenever I do any fuel related stuff.

That's the mk1 style radiator. There's also a mk3 version that is wider and fits 2 12" fans with room to spare and no overflow nipple. Fits the oem location in my k swap integra and solved all the cooling issues I had with a half size

I've probably bought 5 of the scirocco rad from ebay, all 5 were dual pass, but only 1 had a divide welded in like that. The others still had it, but it wasn't obvious/visible from the outside.

I might just have to consider one of these radiators for my K24 Fit, its got a tucked Speedfactory rad with their shroud & dual 8" fans, but its not enough. I've seen up to 216 f in stop & go traffic. I felt like it was necessary to turn the heater on just to be safe.

As long as the cooling system is full it will ground through the coolant. Just saw that like a week ago. Dude had a pipe like yours and was wondering how it was working. And why don’t you put the fan switch in the rad. And the temp switch on the block? Your reading will be off because of location. Less temp there then on the block or rad
