Which is compulsive addiction to thoughts and ways of thinking or rethinking about things because it’s a way for the ocd to validate. “Validation thought patterns” I have ocd and this is one of the ways it manifests for me and it sounds like that’s what Esther has. I think that what you deal with in your 30s objectively are harder, difficult problems e.g. death, caretaking, illness, etc., but because of the self-discovery that happens in your 20s you have the tools to understand and handle things better and it's more manageable. I always felt like the uncertainty and confusion was the worst part of teens/20s

I think people in entertainment need to build a better filter for themselves with internet comments. A lot of it is trolls - a lot of it is fans giving you legitimate feedback that won’t always be positive - and those are different things. If it hits hard, there might be some inner work to be done but the trolls should be ignored outright. Ultimately y’all chose to put yourself in front of the camera and up for public consumption. There are many of us who would love the money you make in your industry but would never do it because of what you are talking about. No one forced you into this position. Be more discerning about the comments you take in or understand it’s par for the course. You act like your fans should only comment positively and you know that’s ridiculous because your podcasts would never evolve without that feedback loop from your fanbase. We are the consumers of your product. We know better than anyone what is working and what doesn’t and how you’re coming across to people. Like for instance, this felt like Khalyla monetizing her projection of her Tigerbelly experience onto Jules and her Bad Friends experience which is kinda gross. Take that or leave it.
