As with everything you use online, everyone needs to decide what they are comfortable using and what not. Extensions need permission in order to provide the functionality it offers. If you do not want to give it access to this, you will lose some of the functionality and That's again a personal choice for everyone. With tools like this I would check their Privacy policy here: www.briskteaching.com/privacy-security-faqs#:~:text=Brisk%20Teaching%20considers%20student%20data,you%20are%20using%20the%20tool and your own school policy to see if you are allowed to use this. An alternative is to either use Nothing, As to keep everything separated from 3rd parties, including the browser you use(As some are more privacy focussed than others) OR if you have a school policy and the budget you could invest in a service such as Gemini for Google Workspace add one which has some features of EI integration within the constraints of Workspace and their agreements about data. Hope this all makes sense. But yes, by giving services access you always have some level of risk, this includes every 3rd party application or Add-on or Extension.

i am trying to use this and follow your tutorial but i enter my google email and then go to the next page and it takes me to a 5 step tutorial and i have to pick one of 3 types of tools offered on the page and then i have to go threough it but then when it's done i cant go to any log in page or anything to do my own work. it keeps switching to spanish because i am in spain but i want english since that is the subject of study i am teaching... but there is no option to switch to english. i don't know what i am doing wrong....

Yes, it also creates the answer key. That being said, AI being AI, I would still scane and double-check everything, but they do include the answers.
