I don't live in India, neither do my customers. They dont earn in rupees or shop in rupees. Here, if you save $15, it's not a big amount at all because you can't really buy anything with $15. What's the point of cash if I can't spend it? Even when saving up money, it's with the goal in mind to eventually spend it on something big, not to just hold onto it forever. I know a few people who are like "but it FEELS good to know I have a lot of money, that I COULD afford something cool, I mean ofc I won't because then I'd have less money but just knowing I could if I wanted is nice". Yes, and it's even nicer to NOT live out of a cardboard box while I unnecessarily hoard all my money at the bank.
