I hate when people go by tier lists. Like.... Just play who you like and are comfortable with whether it be tournaments or casual with friends, it just makes the game that much more enjoyable. Peanut for instance plays Little Mac, what is known as a low tier in every tier list and he makes Lil Mac look viable, so please don't base ANYTHING off a tier list, please.

As much as I love the content, I have to disagree with your spoiler takes. At least in regards to the 6 months to a year thing. Not everyone can be in a place to where they can afford to engage in hobbies they enjoy in the timespan that you mentioned. Some people have obligations or things that take priorities. Some people have to save maybe a dollar or two, or three, whatever a month, to get what they really want. That’s reality. Just because they didn’t get to play/watch something within 6m-1y doesn’t mean that they don’t care lol. Now, in your defense, I do think that if people won’t to avoid spoilers, they should know where to and where not to go. There are spoiler landmines everywhere online, so people have to tread carefully.

I care about a lot of games that were released a long time ago, but I don't have the money to buy them all when they come out or even what could be considered a long time after they come out... I'm not mad about people spoiling them though because I can't ask people not to share anything about anything just because I can't participate or whatever

Agreed to the "Fun = good" bit. A lot of my friends and local players tell me I'm a try hard because I watch KZbinrs and pick the best characters. I main Mac, Dedede, Ganon and I've added Mii Sword since watching Sillin's content. I get owned most of the time Online, but I def have fun (In very short bursts), but because they're focusing so hard on winning, and losing, they think I'm trying my hardest. But tbh, patience goes a long way, and it goes thrice as far against an impatient player lmao

Tier lists are first and foremost relative to the creator of the list. It's difficult to be objective when measuring how good a character is because there are so many metrics to consider and those metrics can also vary based on who you ENJOY playing.

I like tier lists. When i feel like a character is strong but theyre low tier i know im doing something wrong or my opponent is just better. Or i like listening to people's opinions on why which character is good or bad so i can learn what to watch out for.

I've been seeing first hit forward smash doing a lot of knockback and killing with link recently and I always thought it was only a two hit move that killed on the second hit. how do you make the first hit kill?

It's a spacing thing. If your opponent is too far away it will launch them
