Opening up is scary and hard even when you trust someone to support you, its okay to feel and its okay to process in your own way. I will likely never know you but I can tell you that you should have been supported, and treated better and you shouldn't have had to go through all that you did. I am proud though that as someone who had trouble standing up for himself and opening up, you've reached a point you can open up, it shows strength of character and heart and while that does not mean you don't feel the pain, it does mean that you have hope of seeing better days for it. And if that weren't enough to be proud of, look at this, you provide comfort to sooo many people with your content, you make a difference to people you'll never meet. Noone can take the smiles you've given others from you.
