Hi! I just came across your channel, and scrolled through all your videos. I was surprised to not see any reactions to Angelina Jordan (originally from Norway, now living in the US). She entered "Norway's Got Talent" at 7 years old, and won it just after turning 8. She has around 140 videos on KZbin, five are originals, 3 written when she was 11 & 12, (Oslo, What Is Life and Shield) and the latest 2 (Million Miles and 7th Heaven) after she signed with Republic Records at 14. (she is now 15) She also has 2 that were written just for her to sing. The first, 'Song For A' in which the composers ( Nico Cartosio ) description says: "Song for A is the only song on the album. It is performed by Angelina Jordan, a very young and very talented singer. I needed a bright final for my instrumental album. After the series of cold hells and Melting itself I longed for a song of a liberated soul, a soul that was set free from suffering. So, I remembered a beautiful poem by Robert Burns^ and wrote this song especially for Angelina. And she gave a sensual performance." The other, "Above The Water" is by a fellow Norwegian duo called TRXD, that does EDM (electronic dance music) This shows Angelina's versatility to be able to do any genre. She is usually considered to be Blues/Jazz from her early influences, but has covered about 65 artists from Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Rhianna, Amy Winehouse and Adele. If I were to pick one for you to start with, it would probably be her cover of Bohemian Rhapsody, which she did on America's Got Talent: The Champions. The remaining members of Queen posted to their Twitter praising her performance and rendition. She is the one that picks all the songs she sings, and has done all her own arrangements up until signing with RR. kzbin.info/www/bejne/p3eTe4lobduagtk Oh, you will notice in her videos that she always sings barefoot. This is because when she was 6 and on vacation, she met a homeless girl about her age that was shoeless with scarred feet. Angelina befriended her and ended up giving the girl her shoes. The girl said she would pray for Angelina every day, and Angelina made a promise to herself, that she would never wear shoes while singing in public, to bring attention to all the homeless children, and has stuck to that promise for the last 9 years. She became Norway's youngest published author when she wrote a book about the experience, when she was 9. (there is video on line of her being interviewed about this) She also donated the majority of her winnings from NGT to orphans and does much charity work. She speaks 4 languages, plays several instruments and has been described as a child prodigy. I would love to see you do a reaction (or many), no matter what song you pick. Have a great day.
