Vomiting happens when food content move from the small intestine to the stomach because of reverse Peristalsis which where the pyloric sphincter is relaxed and let food fill the stomach. Wrenching marks the beginning of the ejection phase the Diaphragm Chest wall and the abdomen muscles push on the stomach the pyloric sphincter closes off nerves near the stomach force the stomach contains into the esophagus and the epiglottis closes off so that food doesn’t go in to the Respiratory System.
