Took me 3 years and $75k+ to build my 576 sq ft space from the ground up. Only thing I paid to have done was foundation and roof. Did all the work myself, always double what you think it’s going to cost and the time it will take to do it.

I built a fully treated studio with $20k and a few months with the help of some of my client that happen to be electricians/carpenters. And i went to school for acoustics and electronics engineering. We got it done and all i payed them was a few free sessions to fine tune the sound and treatment. Most of the gear i had been collecting since i didn’t have bills and im onto building my third studio while the last one is being rented out. That not all true but i respect the dream big ideology. When i do $200k+ next year i will be going back to school and workin on adding more racks Nd building a custom desk and adding in the pmc 6-2’s ive wanted
