The new edition of DHP is defintely a bit less iris in it then the pre 2020 batches. SHL is such a great brand panthea iris and mortal skin were my first buy from this house and then i got black gemstone. There are still i would love to get

Many thanks Sebastion, for the heads-up. I pulled the trigger and whole-heartedly agree. DIOR Homme Parfum is a masterpiece. And it's probably the only fragrance I own that my wife actually likes. It's transportive and reeks of class. My last signature-scent, KL HOMME, was discontinued by Lagerfeld in the late 90s. It's been a quest for a replacement ever since, and the search is now over. The next step will be acquiring a back-up supply. Thanks again, and keep up the stellar work.

I have all the Dior Homme line, and had the Parfum too, but just never really enjoyed wearing it. I think it’s the rose in it. Plus, there was never an occasion to wear it, that I couldn’t wear DHI, and like DHI much better.

With the Parfum I don't detect much Rose or Mandarin orange. I do smell the Leather and Oud though. Both Parfum and Intense have a lipstick scent. Which I don't mind. If it's that's too much for you then try Valentino Uomo Intense EDP. If only the Parfum version added Tobacco ,Orris Root and Frankincense. Now that could round out the Iris and Cedar for sure. That could be an entirely new scent altogether. Tobacco, Frankincense,Iris, Cedar, Leather, Oud, Orris Root,Ambrette, Cashmere and Labdanum. Call it Dior Homme Extréme.

Ok , this is not a fragrance for women . On first spray I’m hit with leather , some smoky wood and a bit of Vanilla. It is different from my usual spicy , tobacco, vanilla type frags , but !! I’m so far a little underwhelmed, hopefully it improves on the dry down . So a week later my final conclusion is , it definitely improves on the dry down with a powdery softness and vanilla . I think due to its scarcity it has become rather overrated. For me , I wouldn’t purchase another bottle .

DHP in 75ml is much better. But honestly the fragrance also does age and gets denser. It's certainly not as good ast the 75ml yes but you can't even get the 75ml version anymore. Btw currently sold out on the Dior French website. It was available for around 6 months this year. It's an in demand fragrance that's not at all ever sold in the states. How many people travel to Europe to buy DHP? What would that ticket cost. A $1000 round trip?
