It reminds me a situation that happened years ago where a woman had a crush on me but was already dating someone else. We still danced together (I've dance with several of my friends during that prom) and unexpectedly she kissed on the cheek. It's after that I found out she had a crush on me. You know, I just really wanted to thank you for this audio. My prom date faked getting food poisoning to avoid going to prom with me. Just imagining an situation where it didn't happen based on this audio really helps despite this being a few years ago. Not to mention when I got a second chance with someone I started dating who was about to have her prom, covid happened. So needless to say, I'm very thankful for this audio. After all the shit I've been through, I just wanted to say thank you for helping me to paint a picture for what that night could've been like.

I remember when I asked my crush to prom, only to be met with a “rain check”. My autistic brain thought “well, it’s better than no.” and waited for a definitive answer. Turns out she was gonna ask someone else but didn’t want to tell me. Felt like a massive idiot when my sister found out and told me. Went to prom with some friends anyway for the sake of saying I went, but ultimately wish I hadn’t. Hope this video helps everyone else that didn’t get an ideal prom experience. I went to prom without a date and just hung out with my friends. Honestly, it was the best party I’ve been to. I believe that to have the best time at prom (or any party), don’t stress about going with a date or just going with friends. As long as you have fun with the people around you, it will one of if not the best parties you’ll ever have.

I think I can say that this definitely was a nice audio to listen to. I can remember only going to prom just once when I was a junior in highschool. I surprisingly tried asking a girl that I liked out and she agreed to go with me. When it came to my senior year i didn't go because I didn't know if the same person wouldn't want to go with me. Plus I remember my Best Friend didn't think he was going so I decided not to go because I felt like I was to insecure about asking. And also because I wanted to hang out with my best friend instead. So I can say yeah I relate to those who didn't really go to prom much since when I did go I left early because I felt like I was not sure if this gal, who is/was my friend, was interested or not with me. I remember going to a prom. Our school always organizes a big event and everyone has to learn how to dance from special teachers for the grand dance at the end. Most of the students in my school were girls and they got to pick a date (don't ask me how that logic works). No one ended up picking me. Most girls had boyfriends and those that didn't just danced with other girls. The number of dancers was uneven and the organizers brought a girl (one of the younger instructors) to be my partner. She was a sweet girl. Didn't make fun of me like some did. On the day of the dance I was the only one who brought a rose. Everyone looked at me like I was a weirdo. "Dude, why'd you bring a rose?" Why didn't you? You're the one with a girlfriend. She thanked me and the dance went great. But she needed to leave early for personal reasons. She was genuinely sorry and I held no grudge. I don't regret going. Not one bit. The dance was nice and the after-party was fun. At the end of the day I had a great time.
