Ok, i’m sure the formula is working in some way but here 1:30 In ascending team Charon had an additional diagonal attack and therefore 1 additional tile was used, so the multiplier was higher when the units started attacking. That’s where the 4% damage difference came from. Again the formula is working, you can see, that in ascending team Charon is dealing a little more damage, but the real damage difference is negligible which is about 1-2%. (Also Faust in the video isn’t A3, so he didn’t get any bonus from the formula in the descending team. If he was, the difference would be even less noticeable)

For multiple enemies, I put the highest DPS (usually sniper like Migard) as the captain, and the rest would depend on their range. I'll let my detonators kill the nearest enemy. And let the snipers cleanup the farthest. Your detonator's chain combos will be wasted if you let the snipers kill the nearest enemies right away.

First Time i play, I use Rainbow Team (3 Detonator, 1 Sniper, 1 Support). But when i had converter i needed, i turned into mono team and try make a balance team for every element. And for friend's unit... One month since i was playing, i finish all stage with friend's unit until my unit strong enough, only to get reward first clear...

The biggest difference aside from unit slotting, is level. For main DPSes, you absolutely have to make them to be lvl 80 for maximum damage. Ofc leveling takes so much prism and time, so just main DPSes (usually 2 tho) of each color is fine

If I'm not wrong, you can only use the friend feature once a day and you can't 3 star a stage with it. (unless AS changed the rules)

For some reason, the way I beat 10-14 is by using rainbow team. Yeah the curse really annoying and could lock you out of option if using Mono.

I thought I knew all there it is to team building but since I never pay too much attention to dmg formulas in most gacha games except when I am stuck on something really difficult (basically I knew there is bonus dmg from combos, tiles, element etc)... I did not realize positions in teams and I had my dmgers on the left... The difference is really big... Btw can I ask something... tile bonus means that when there is for example 15 tile combo... when unit hits enemy while standing on first tile it will do 100 % dmg and when it hits enemy while on 15th tile it will do 150 % dmg? I am just making sure I understand the formula. Btw thanks for amazing video!

I am having a dry spell Gor the past 2 events and now I have sunk 40 beacons into the dragon maid event and all I got was Uriel. I am done with the dragon maid event. Before when using support you could nt get 3 star in stage but now i think they changed it wich is nice but many Players that Players before don't gonna use supports cuz of that

For example, I have a team of each element with the equipment at 9 or 10. How to raise them to 80 is very expensive and the damage is not noticeable too much I raise the DPS to 40 and the suport and converters to 20. I don't know if it will be a good strategy This, but it helps me a lot and allows me to upload other Aurorians faster and have balanced teams while saving resources.

Yeah, I do think in general it's nice to have at least one team full of lv80, so you steamroll content if needed.

I usually go for: detonators 80, snipers 70, double chain units 60, column converters and 5* cross converters mbt at 50, other converters at 20 and gimmick/supp units at max lvl 10.

its definitely better to build your teams all to at least A3 lv1 eq9or10 first since you don't need more than that for any of the main content, then you can start raising them more gradually after that. As a day one player I've only just gotten 2 Aurorians up to 80 because it just wasn't necessary for the content. Its only really as you push into the very endgame that it might be better to get to 80, Im talking high spire stages, the new simulations, calamity codex.

How much Converters (both 4 tiles and cross shape) do u think is enough? I usually run 2 carry 2 converters (1 4 tiles + 1 big shape or 2 4 tiles) and 1 healer.

Depends on what content. 2 converters is the minimum. Usually team comp is DPS/2 converters/flex/flex. Flex can either be another DPS, healers, or supports like 2x chainers or atk support unit like Chloe. It really depends on what content. For farming with a lot of mobs, I like to use a fleur/3 converters/vice team. Bosses like deathless doesn't need you to bring healer thus you can go with DPS/3 converters/flex. Solmorph like in spire 89 needs you to bring healer, some use DPS/2 converters/healer/2x chainer or some uses 2 DPS/2 converters/healer. AS is very flexible tho, so as long as you have the core units you can go around with whatever play that suits you

You should still follow low to high formation for yellow tiles(assuming mono team), the difference is Michael do good damage as a leader with normal attack. So putting her as leader seems to be a good choice overall.

Sorry, I'm a new player, just reached lv 15 yesterday. I still don't really understand about team comp. I just reached chapter 6, and my team are Charon>Faust>Aeria>Vice>Kleken. Sometimes I change front with Daytona + Garou(or garouna, idk, I forgot her name). Is it already good enough to beat most of content except spire and secret area? Or is it a must to have mono elements team comp? Because I don't really have complete team comp for each element. If you notice this, many thanks for you if you answer this. As new player, I'm pretty much still confused about this whole team comp strategy. 🥲🥲

Always remember you can have the 5th slot being a friend unit. Generally, for story content, mono team is recommended. I am sure you have Tiny one, you can use her as a supplementary Fire converter until you get Eicy/BT2 Maggie. I will be making another video talking about team comp in the future, stay tuned!

Hi Nerfa, awesome video as always!!! i have a questions for you, say if my main dps i use is Fleur, a Water Aurorian , if i made him deal damage to fire enemy and forest enemy, Fleur will deal more damage to the fire enemy compare to the forest enemy since fire is weak against water right? so my question is, a max ascension Fleur will make Fleur gain another element that made him become Water Thunder Aurorian, does Fleur also deal more damage towards water enemy since Fleur second element is Thunder? and my another question is, for example if my team leader is a main dps water aurorian, again as a water aurorian it will deal more damage to fire enemy, so my question is, if i change the team leader with a forest aurorian but still include my main dps water aurorian in the team but not as a leader, will my main dps water aurorian deal less damage towards the fire enemy during the chain combo since my team leader is a forest aurorian? or it doesn't change anything? i'm not sure if i'm looking at the numbers correctly but sometimes i feel like my main dps deal less damage towards the enemy whenever i didnt make my main dps as a leader. like my water dps as a team leader deals lots of damage to fire enemy but whenever i didn't make my water dps as a team leader, it feels like my water dps deals normal or less damage to fire enemy. am i wrong and just hallucinating or is this actually true? i wish the developer make a practice mode so that we can test our aurorians to see the damage numbers

1) While a unit is Captain, it always use his main element, which deal 100% of his damage. If a unit has dual element and NOT in the captain position, you can walk on the second element tiles and he will do 35% of his damage. If you walk on water tile you will do water damage(Except Captain, like I said). 2)Like I said, if you walked on water tile, you will do water element damage. If you feel you did less, probably because that element is not his main element damage. Captain doesn't do extra damage, only the fact he will always use main element as damage source. 3)Since you are confused with the dual element, dual element of the same type (ex. Fire + Fire) will always do 105% Fire damage. Dual element of different type (ex. Water + Thunder), when walk on water tiles its 100%, when walk on thunder tiles its 35%.

The best and safest option is to put your detonators as captain or if you have a very good sniper such as Paloma that has global range for example, they'll do the trick as well

You want your captain to always hit and if possible chain combo'd. Usually those like Charon, michael who's requirements for chain comboing is 2 tiles. Or snipers if you're against mobs aka small monsters and 1 tile bosses. Some like Hiiro needs to be captain cause of her equipment, Tessa needs to be captain to build up her stacks.

Well, I would say generally captain should be someone with strong Equipment, such as Charon/Sinsa(Diagonal attacker), Michael (%Hp cut from normal attack), Hiiro(Bonus damage from enhanced tile).
