I know sometimes things seem surreal. Sounds like we both have been through a lot in life and a lot hasn’t been good. That is why I carry a lot of bitterness with me. I try not to think of the past too much because I know that the blame is wanting to be put on me for having to live an unfulfilled life but it’s because I was there. If I wouldn’t have been there things I’m sure would’ve been much different, don’t know how different because I was there. I always would wonder how my life would’ve been if I was in a different family also because again I’m sure my life would’ve ended up much different from how it is now but this is what I have done and this is where I’m at and I just need to not let past thoughts and feelings get in the way of the future because the past is gone and the future is mine. Sometimes change is hard to except when it is happening but as long as when it does change and it feels right it is much easier to except, especially when the change is better than what the past was. I understand the past can cause a-lot of hindrance that feels like it is trying to control your future but I know that the past needs to stay in the past because the past became the past for a reason. I feel if the past would’ve been a good past we would’ve stayed where we all were but none of us is there anymore so that is where it shall remain, in the past. We all will be much happier if we do so. Like I said sometimes you have to figure other things out first to know what you do want. With us, I felt like it was right but I also knew something wasn’t quite right so I guess we had to let it go to figure out the difference. You do need to try to live and be open to possibilities. We were pretty close to perfect. I thought we had everything that we needed but I did also know that there were things we didn’t need also and back then the changes that needed to take place for us to survive was totally out of the question because the time was right it just wasn’t quite right at the time. Everything was so new and uncertain that what we needed to do and wanted to do just couldn’t happen at that moment and possibly if we took a leap of faith we may not be where we are now and possibly in a much different place but who knows it may have become even more perfect. Since then I know that I have been through lots of challenges that has changed me and I’m sure that you have had your share of challenges and I do know that I don’t see life the way that I used to. It’s been a hard road for me because I have had to overcome lots of obstacles but I have been lucky enough to have a few people stand by me through those challenges. I’m so much different now but in some ways I feel that my other version of myself from before may somewhat still be here.
