I think a fresh start would be a good idea. We could talk about things that aren't triggering, like hobbies, movies and TV shows, science, nature, etc. so we can relax and enjoy each other. Don't worry about rejection, just remind yourself that we are two people who like and care about each other. If I truly, wanted to leave I would have done so already. I have demons of my own to grapple with and I know that your presence and your touch would help me defeat them. Each of us can heal the other. I want this as much as you do. I made the conscious decision to do what I did. I chose to listen to God and my heart. You allowing the past to affect you the way you do gets on my LAST NERVES!! You are that, loving, kind, genuine, and gentle. You are fighting a losing battle. You have wasted valuable time not allowing me to be with you now. People who will not lie down with you or wake up with you and truly love and support you always. Your past, regardless of what's in it, will not, can not affect our future in a negative way. Only if you allow it to!! It doesn't matter to me. Only the positive. Kids, if any.
