It’s hard to be someone’s everything because you can only do so much. Life is hard. It’s one of those things both people have to want it bad enough to make it work and make it where nothing can come between you but as you know there are all kinds of temptations that can ruin even the best things. I guess you have to be committed enough to not let that happen but unfortunately some people don’t treat their relationships with care and become too demanding which is a turnoff in any kind of relationship. No body is perfect and no relationship will be perfect but you have to be willing to accept the imperfections of the relationship and of each other. Just because people tell you something doesn’t necessarily mean it’s true but doesn’t necessarily mean that there can’t be some truth to it either. It’s like just because my parents are my parents doesn’t necessarily mean that I’m like them. Yes, maybe I might carry some traits but when it comes down to it just because they did what they did doesn’t necessarily mean that is what I want or what I will do. I am my own person as much as they are their own person. My situations are different because we are different people. Of course everyone will keep in mind what is told to them but it doesn’t necessarily mean that is the way it really is. I think you need to do what you feel is right for you. This world and life can be very mean and cruel but sometimes you need to take a chance on life to give good things and receive also. I guess we were the perfect example but it sounds like you let others advice get in the way and now you know what was told to you isn’t always true but life can be very cruel and play dirty tricks on you so yes you do need to be careful, especially now because by now I think we all have had some not so good experiences which makes a lot unpleasant but you just need to know the difference. As we all know there are no guarantees in life and I think sometimes you need to take chances in order to gain anything. I think we all have maybe a handful of people in our lives that we know we can count on because they honestly care about us but if we have a lot of jealousy and envy around us of course we are always going to have our guard up. We can’t just sit in our houses afraid to face the world because of all these negative things around us. I know sometimes it’s tempting to do so but that really isn’t a healthy way to live either. I know we are suppose to do unto others as we want done for us but sometimes others don’t play the game right and we will always have haters because you can’t change them. I understand something in your past has caused you problems to trust because I have the same issues but maybe in a different way. Somehow you just need to let it be. I’ve been through a lot myself so I understand and I also know sometimes you have trust someone even when you don’t want to but sometimes if you don’t you can miss out on something. People usually totally let you know where you stand with them so don’t ignore the signs and when someone does seem sincere it’s hard to tell if it’s for real. I say time tells everything. I think if someone doesn’t want to put in the time to get to know you and wants everything done quickly without putting any thought into anything to me that is a red flag making it seem like they don’t have your best interests and they just want something you may not want to give. Love takes time and to me that’s not love. I honestly don’t think anyone has had to go through what I have gone through therefore it’s hard for anyone to understand me but maybe they have gone through things that I have not so I may not understand them but if someone wants you to be a part of their life they will and they will do it in the right way.
