very well explined. mate i have 3 questions, Do i have to secure admission in the city of which my sponsor lives? or is it applicable outside of the station? 2nd, can one work part time or live sepretly while the have come under sponcership during their studies? and the final question, can the applicant apply for refuge after arrival in Germany or even after completion of the course considering their sponsorship status in mind, what is your thoughts on this. Hi Thanks for taking the time to watch the video! To answer your 1st question, as long as the person sponsoring meets all the requirements, you are allowed to live ANYWHERE in Germany Yes you can still work part time even if you are being sponsored, because you are on a student visa you can work for either 140 full days or 240 half days in a year. And lastly, once you complete your studies, you can switch from a student visa to a job seeker visa for 18 months and if you manage to get a job, you can once again switch to a work visa which can lead you to getting permanent residency Alternatively if you don’t manage to complete you studies, you could still apply for asylum status in Germany, but there is no guarantee that it will be granted. The foreigners authority would decide whether or not to grant you asylum depending on how strong your case is

I don’t know if companies give sponsorship, usually it’s individuals who are residents in Germany that can give sponsorship letter. Companies give scholarships, the company has to provide documentation that explain every detail of the scholarship

Hello The sponsor must be a resident in Germany, but it’s not a must they are a family member Also if you have blocked account, you maybe required to show proof of tuition fee payment to the university at least for the 1st semester. It would be easier to get a visa if you use one proof of finance. Either you have a blocked account and pay fees directly to the university or, you have a sponsor who is a legal resident in Germany who will pay for everything

Usually on the form you have to say how long your program is for, if it 2 years, indicate that it’s 2 years

When you get the scholarship, they become your sponsor. There are 3 ways to get proof of finance for your visa 1) blocked account 2) scholarship from an institution like daad 3) sponsorship by a German resident

Hi Getting someone to host is quite difficult, because for someone to sponsor you they need to know and trust you. I would suggest looking for scholarships, that way the financial burden is less for you

Hi I don’t know what exactly the amount is for Berlin. I have tried to look for the exact amount and haven’t been able to find it. But it should be similar to Munich since Berlin is also a Major city. Also it depends on whether she is married or has children.
