After a year and a half of hard work, here it is! Finally, a few answers concerning Lust's actions.

More information about the storyboard itself and the story:
- Lust was secretly in love with Keimi. Hence her name and the bisexual flag markings on her body
-The kittens you see with Lust at the beginning are Keimi's. Lust adopted them after Keimi's death.
-Two of Keimi's kittens become friends with Ayki later on (see "The worst place in the world" storyboard)
Yes, I know, Lust overreacted, but so did Ayki. He wants to kill his parents as revenge, that's a little over the top. But these characters come from a universe that's really messed up, where death is everywhere and relationships are complicated. It's difficult to develop healthy mindsets in such an atmosphere.

Lust is the most complex character I've seen. The love of her life died and she had no control because Enki let his relationships get in the way. It was no one's fault but that's not the way Lust sees it. She was still grieving when the got to the humans and with the world setting everyone's already in it's hard to have a clear head. I don't condone her actions of making Ayki invisible but I can understand why she did it. She was grieving but she should still be held accountable for her actions because none of it was Ayki's fault but she did it to get back at Enki. Edit: Okay so I look like a kid but thanks for all the likes! I could do another analysis considering it has been a year and I could probably do a better job. edit: wow i cant believe this comment is so old now

Revenge against a child is the act of a coward. All it shows it that one is too weak to take vengeance against the one they believed wronged them. So instead, the child is targeted and suffers for a act of which they are innocent.

In my mind, Lust was heartbroken and damaged when Enki let her die. He saved Ayla rather than the cat that was originally attacked, the two of them could've tried and taken down the monster. She's still troubled, she felt such hatred for the two that when she had a chance to get revenge for the two of them, she took it. It was wrong to do that, but it was also wrong to just let another cat die and do nothing. Lust may have been the reason for making a evil ass cat, but I can understand she was still in the state of mourning (she still deserves whatever punishment she could for what she did, but i can see she wasnt in the right mindset)

I don’t understand why everyone loves Lust. She’s just not like able in my eyes. She’s like MapleShade from Warrior Cats. She doesn’t care about anyone else except herself and her love. She doesn’t care at all about how the other cats feel. And when she said, “now her kits are orphans because of YOU!” I just thought, what a hippocrite. She literally made the other kit invisible so his father couldn’t find him! So his whole life is ruined, now. It wasn’t their fault at ALL, she died, they had to save who they had to save. But she doesn’t give a CRAP about anyone else, so she DESERVED to lose her. She only does things that will help herself, but not anyone else. She is a heartless liar. She deserves all the pain she’s brought to herself and others, and if she can’t change, I hope she dies, too, so we don’t get to see anymore of her.

I like lust due to being complex and i dont think lust is like mapleshade, mapleshade thought every action she took was right at every point and was manipulative with no given reason even before she was 'driven mad by grief'. lust however we dont see in ealier storyboards so she might have just been a normal part of the guild up until she lost keimi. That was the time she started to overeact and take revenge on ayki for what his parent had done (in her eyes) this is not justification for her actions but i dont think keimi deserved to die and i dont think lust does either i am simply explaining why i enjoy lust and not mapleshade

Gosh I love Ayla's voice, and she definitely has to be my favourite character so far. Lust's voice is great too...infant scratch that, all of the VAs had so much power and emotion in their acting

I love how dimensional these characters are. They have realistic thoughts and feelings and reactions to the things around them, ones that are direct products of their environment. It makes them complex and deep when they are irrationally overreacting. Absolutely love it.

Did anyone realize that a couple of the kits are the ones Ayki killed- I'm pretty sure- if so that is a big big oof- And I do understand her reasoning but to make Ayki invisible just to get back at his father. I hope she realizes what she did in the future. Cause she really messed some things up with Ayki being on the humans side instead of their side.

Ah!! This is so enjoyable to watch! I always wonder why Lust did that in the older storyboard, and yet i didnt expect her reasons was because of her "love's" death. Also, i notice something is kinda.. Patterning. Ayla and Enki tried to save Keimi but she died. While keimi kits who befriend Ayki, (and Ayki didnt want to kill them but for completing the experiment sake, he has to.) both died in order of experiments.

personally she's my favorite character. she's complex, she had a motive behind her actions. i mean would you not be upset if someone saved another person over your lover? (at least i think they were lovers i'm not sure i might be wrong) she was bitter and angry, and wanted them to suffer the way she had to. does that condone her actions? no, HOWEVER you have to sympathize with her a bit. grief twists the mind in horrible ways

Aahh yes I waited so long for this 🥺! And finally, here we are with a storyboard that explains a lot but honestly, I can't relate to Lust's actions anyway. She was angry that the kittens of the cat who died (I have no idea how to write the name... Kamie?) Were orphaned, that her friend died. But it doesnt justify the action. Lust did something horrible to Ayla and Enki as well, basically the same she was so mad about. She willingly let it happen- that the humans took ayki to do WHATEVER with him, this is almost worse than having orphaned kittens. Really. Not only did she do bad to enki and ayla (which probably was her intention) but she did some horrible stuff to A kitten, who had nothing to do with this, happen. I am deeply sorry for lust, but almost mad about her actions which were driven by her own anger and hurt. Aaaanyway, I love the way you portrayed her character, since it is usually their decisions what makes visible what they are all about. Everyone has their own thinking on what is right and what is justified, but feelings can get in the way and interrupt the logical way of thinking. I am on my way of really liking Lust, she feels so real that it hurts. You did this amazing Koe, can't wait for the story to go on! :) keep up this cool stuff! 💙

I remember when I first saw your channel by watching your Snowfur AMV "Youth" That AMV seriously affected and changed my life as a kid, your art made me want to do more art, your stories made me want to write stories, and you made me want to have a KZbin channel to inspire other people. I get why she did what she did, she was grieving over her children. But in a way caused the death of two, the third one went after Ayki for revenge which basically got him killed, and Ayki ended up doing that because Lust made it seem like his father wanted to leave him behind. Grieving can cause people to do the wrong things, but that does not make her actions excusable and even more so since she doesn’t regret it.

J'ai eu énormément de plaisir à regarder ce storyboard ! La plus grosse comparaison que l'on peut faire entre le premier et celui-ci serait le visuel, il y a énormément de points sur lesquelles tu t'es améliorée ! Déjà le visuelle globale sur l'animation est beaucoup plus agréable à regarder car tu as rajouté des rebonds, ce qui donne vraiment de la vie aux personnages et une dynamique qu'il n'y avait pas dans les anciens storyboards ! J'aime beaucoup la miniature, j'ai regardé le speedpaint et c'est toujours impressionnant de voir les étapes de réalisation, je trouve que l'effet textuel est un très bon choix, il s'accorde bien avec l'ambiance du dessin en général et des personnages, ca donne une idée du storyboard à suivre ! Ensuite le chara design, c'est ma partie préférée. Les formes des visages et des yeux sont au top, tu les choisis à la perfection, je trouve que c'est le point sur lequel tu t'es énormément améliorée, les décors se mélangent parfaitement avec ton style ! Je me souviens t'avoir dis à une époque, cela doit remonter à 2 3 ans maintenant, sur un post Deviantart ou tu demandais un avis plus détaillé sur tes dessins, que tu t'étais améliorée en animation mais que la morphologie des personnages était encore un peu plate. Je ne sais pas ce que tu en penses car je ne veux pas faire de conclusions hâtives, mais je trouve que d'avoir suivi une voie différente, en changeant ton style sur beaucoup de points, donne vraiment du professionnalisme à ton travail, même si j'ai toujours admiré ton travail d'animation. Tu as un très long parcours et ca ne doit pas être facile de repartir sur de nouvelles bases, mais sache que, pour toutes les années où j'ai suivi ton travail, je trouve que tes personnages sont beaucoup plus vivants, et on ressent énormément d'émotions à travers ce storyboard. Je te souhaite bon courage pour la suite, j'ai hâte de suivre tes travaux à la fois sur KZbin et Instagram !

0:13 the white and light brown kittens are the ones that befriended Ayki when he was there and then he had to kill them. They look exactly the same as those two and their age fits. Did Lust kill 2 of her kittens because of what she did to Ayki? (In leaving Ayki there he later kiled her kittens because he didnt have a choice, but he could have never killed them if she had saved him)
