@@teabagwatch7546 That's great! I'm glad the content is digestible and easy to comprehend. I started doing tutorials (even though I'm roughly 4 months learned) to try and teach the stuff that I learn to others that are also struggling to learn or understand things.

@@sylvernes9837 Crazy to think you've only been doing UE5 for 4 months, you must have put in a lot of work to learn as you defo seem to know what you are talking about. Struggling to learn is exactly how I found you :D I followed the UE5 "your first 60 mins to MM" but when finished it did not work... so I looked up a tutorial and voila! :D

@@teabagwatch7546 I had a feeling there were going to be others that struggle with it too lol Since I've reverse-engineered and learned GASP, going over that UE5 How-To Doc is simple to understand for me, but there were points that I didn't like that I wanted to do slightly different with my series, and make it simple for others. I also want to take the series into a direction of making a basic third person shooter, so I can teach other stuff that I found wasn't so simple and make it simple for others...like using a FABRIK node for left hand placements...that wasn't simple to find nor understand for me, but I got it lol

How much would be changing with 5.5? I would love to have Motion Matching replicated, but it’s not possible with 5.4, correct? I know that there are projects with replication, but they’re not the most efficient way to replicate?

So, I don't know all the changes that are coming to UE 5.5 outside of some things mentioned by other UE Dev KZbinrs. I do know some things coming regarding Motion Matching: 1. Updates to Chooser Table 2. Updates to Motion Warping 3. Improved Animation Root Motion support 4. Updates to trajectory queries for Motion Matching. Those are some things I found for the UE 5.5 release roadmap: portal.productboard.com/epicgames/1-unreal-engine-public-roadmap/tabs/109-unreal-engine-5-5 However, I don't know if there's updates for network replication being done for those parts of Motion Matching. On another note, some of the things that are done within GASP has been set up decently for replication. For example, stuff that is called off of the Character Movement Component should be automatically set up for it: dev.epicgames.com/documentation/en-us/unreal-engine/understanding-networked-movement-in-the-character-movement-component-for-unreal-engine I haven't dabbled too much into network replication for me to be able to give you anything concrete. However, that sounds like a fun little project to work on next. I'll do some studying/researching into Network Replication and try to incorporate it into GASP or Motion Matching in particular. It may involve recreating the entirety of it from scratch.
