Believe it or not, I completely understand that. I'm a very gifted singer by nature, and I was vocalizing once on a rainy day in a cave that lies in a vale near my house. Well, the echo from that cave then echoes throughout the vale and apparently somebody was passing through it on foot at that particular time. They looked around but couldn't find the cave as its hidden behind many bushes, kind of my secret haven, so now there's this story of a dryad, I think the story is, in our vale that sings during the rain. My cousin was the one who told me, even she didn't know about the cave so after I nearly laughed myself to death, I told her everything. We decided not to say anything, I mean, what's the harm in letting people believe in a creature that protects the forest and watches over those who travel through it who also respect the forest? Kind of comforting to believe a being like that is watching.

Like, how close *are* we? What does *he* know about *me* at this point? At a certain point, the secret is less important than the fact that you kept it. I'm assuming this is early in the friendship and I can let it go pretty quickly 😂 Him: Like what? Jump in the bathtub? If you’re taking your merfolk friend inside you place, you should always use a blanket. Either have one in the car for emergency purposes or one on your place. Get the blanket. Wrap it around the tail. If blanket is too small, get another or use your coat. Have him pretend to be asleep when you carry him, with his head facing towards you if there are scales on his face. If anyone stops you in the hallway you can keep it brief, saying you need to get your friend into bed. Tail is covered, so security cameras won’t know a thing.

Oh my goodness this is really kind of you, umm I don't have a Patreon. I do have a Ko-fi and YT channel Memberships, but they're _entirely_ optional, please don't feel like you need to or anything! I currently don't have any plans for a Neko Listener 2, the problem is it's a decently wrapped-up one-shot, I'm not sure where I could take that series that would be satisfying.
