I’m really glad this show is actually good! I’ve been really excited for this show since we got the leaked trailer at comic con & I’m really sick of seeing people judge it before it’s even released saying it’s not as good as the 90’s series or Spectacular Spider-Man. This video really makes me more excited to see the show now. Only 5 more days to go! I can’t wait!

Okay... Peter Parker's characteristization. Please tell me that he isn't TOO obnoxious? Look the nerdy, dorky, timid, shaky, and lame take on peter parker is getting old. Does he ATLEAST have some sense of confidence to himself? A spine. Not a total jerk, but has a SMALL chip on his shoulder??? Like... does he even talk back whenever somebody pisses him off? Just wondering. Just please! Tell me if his characterization doesn't lead to the same path that was presented in the ultamate and 2017 Spider-Man cartoons. Please, bro. Is he done better in this show?

It's heavily inspired by the art of the late great Steve Ditko from the 60's. They also hired some modern-day comic talent to help develop the look of the show. They really wanted this to look like a moving comicbook.

I don't think this is really a spoiler question, but when you say it's like a What If storyline, does it make it clear that it branches from the core MCU timeline at a specific point? Like, do you think we can expect the way characters are portrayed here to be the same when they're brought to the MCU? Does the timeline work out in a way that makes sense? Or do you think we're not meant to think about it like that?

it doesn't go out of its way to tell you this is an alternate timeline, but if you follow the MCU, you'll very clearly recognize how they play with the moment where things are different and the story going on in the larger MCU at the same time is merely a backdrop which does actually become a factor in this story somewhat. i found it to be really well done

It just old at this point, while it can work (Nick Fury) they only ever race swap Red heads, Asians, and Aliens. Saying it's okay because Asians are basically white people and white people have no culture. These are the excuses people try to race swap Black Panther, if it is okay to race and gender swap characters why do people freak out and say it's unacceptable when it's black to white or female to male but not vis-versa?

I really enjoyed Creature Commandos I’m happy we’re getting another banger of an animated show this year! Spider-Man is my favorite superhero, so of course I’ll watch. Sounds like this could be right up there with TAS and Spectacular
