Hi, I am genuinely curious about this, purush and parkriti are masculine and feminine attributes, not man and women themselves. Feminine people tend to have to more emotional needs, and if it is only the feminine who has to take care of the emotional need to others, then why do we need masculine energy. The human is to imbibe both energies within themselves, and learn from the opposite energy. The rules that you talk about were set by Western society not the Vedic society, if u look into it the Vedic philosophy does not mind if the woman wants to earn or practice a skill, and it doesn't mind if man wants to be someone who cares more about home. I chose pile 1, and yes I am a very nurturing person but my whole life has been struggle in explaining this to people that feminine's nurturing ability is a blessing, not feminine's duty. My husband can only get to experience them if he stands by me, as I explore my role in the world, if I am soft yes he should protect me, but first he should protect me from his own ego only then does he earn the right to stand by me, similarly yes I would get the right to nurture my husband but I get that right only when I can devote myself to him. It's a mutual give and take scenario. My role is to BE whoever the divine has planned me to be, and that cannot be bound to any limited rules or duties. If masculine is concerned with physical things such masculine will never be able to recognise the feminine anyways, and if feminine is too concerned or confused about only emotions, she won't be able to appreciate masculine either. Total self emotional, mental and spiritual awareness leads to awareness of the other, no other way around. Why settle with anything less than that
