A Yandere Shadow? Oftentimes your shadow can be larger than you so this is a fitting interpretation of that. Even more so that it’s the girl the listener likes only to an insane degree which again just shows off the wide range you can go with Yandere’s as well as Vanilla’s range ^_^

That bit in the description of “Happy Ending? Depends on who you ask.” had me convinced this was gonna end with either the listener betraying their gf and choosing the shadow or that the gf was gonna fuse with her shadow and she would end up being somewhere in between the two personality-wise afterward. (And those closing lines had me MAD suspicious for a moment that that was the case.) But I’m happy it turned out the way it did. Incredible work on this. Had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish.

16:27 throughout this whole thing I was just thinking like how dumb are they? Why are they waiting outside leave? They still had control of their body and they chose to stay nearby which meant if anything went wrong there wouldn’t be much time to fix it at this point it’s like yeah, they could’ve just taken over and stayed outside anyways but that’s not the point the point is they specifically chose to stay right outside the house? 19:07 at this point I just wouldn’t if they’re fine, not being the one in control of the body then they wouldn’t have done this in the first place cause they’d be fine being in the background and they have already addressed how they pay attention to loopholes so, even if this isn’t binding, it’s still the fact that they can say I release them if they do something that’s technically correct but they didn’t do what you expected
