you can park right on the street outside the venue! i try to get there closer to doors so i get a close spot. the area is sketchy and cars have been damaged before so just dont leave anything valuable out.

You can park right on the street outside. I always try to go on the earlier side so my car isn't that far from the venue (the area is sketchy). I've never done VP for the Great Hall (don't think it's really worth it), but for the Mirage it can be depending on the artist playing! I believe they're changing up the structure of the Mirage in 2025 so we'll see what the VIP area looks like!

Hi Emma, love the video! I have a few questions: I’m going to Mirage in June for Steve Aoki and 1. I’m little nervous to be on the floor because I’m short. Scared to be squished. Would you say it gets super packed that you can’t move or are people chill that you can dance a little? 2. For the GA on the top floor, I know it’s first come first serve. How early would you recommend going if doors open at 10:00pm? And do you think that would still be open now in 2024? 3. How much is an average cocktail at the bar? 4. Do they allow Fanny packs and basic stuff (hand sanitizer, lotion, gum etc) ?

1/2. You can definitely find spots to try and manage it better like hanging on the sides or towards the back. It definitely gets crowded for bigger artists, but you can camp out in a spot upstairs as well. I'd personally be there by 11:30 the latest (typically I go at 10:30/11). 3. They range from $12-16 for a beer/seltzer to $16-20 for cocktails. 4. Yes you can bring a fanny pack! I'd just make sure things are sealed.

Great video Emma, going to this venue in a few weeks and this video really provided some great info Some other topics I wish you would have addressed - Smoking sections, where are they? What are they like? - Bathrooms - Are there bathroom attendants? Are tips expected? Do they have things you can buy ( candies, glow sticks , cologne/perfume etc… ) - How long does it take to get through security/ticket check/id check/credit card line? - Where are the best places to chill out ( couches, lounges ) and good meet up places if you get separated from your friends Hope for a part 2!

For smoking, you have to go outside I believe. There's a door you can exit through and i always see people standing there smoking. No real bathroom attendants, there's a ton of stalls inside Avant Gardner or there are a bunch of stalls that are a part of the Mirage. If you have a VIP band, I believe you get a separate bathroom right next to the Mirage stalls. Security doesn't take long at all (depends on when you show up though). For the most part, they move through everyone pretty quickly. You get id checked first, then bag then they check your ticket and give you a wristband, then you go to a machine to connect your band to your credit card. Right now inside Avant Gardner they have a ton of couches to just hang out!

For the mirage - So VIP is really just the viewing area on the top floor stage left. You can oversee the whole stage and dancefloor and there's usually a good amount of space there which is nice to breathe! There's also a bar right upstairs on the top floor near the VIP. I haven't done VIP at Avant, but there are tables stage left on a raised platform, and there's a viewing area stage right that's upstairs (not sure if this is VIP or guest list).

Yes! There’s a whole second level that’s GA and it’s first come first serve. There’s a small bar up there as well. Only the top right section on the 2nd floor is reserved for VIP.

Watch out for security they are extremely aggressive if u go onto the bathroom be ready for extremely corrupt security honestly its kinda scary and they do weird things like look in the stalls and if you take more then 2 mins ull get searched.......ps there's a door that says smoking and it's open if u walk out that door u will absolutely not be allowed back in so just be careful! .....Best sound system I've ever heard visuals are amazing they just need to fix the security issue I won't even get into what I saw happen with 6+ men security in the woman's bathroom locked door strip searched a girl ..yeah not cool be safe it is possible to have an amazing time there.

At the Mirage, there are a few benches and outside in the hall and they put a hang out area in Avant Gardner to sit in chill. During the show, there's no seating except in VIP. At Avant Gardner when shows are happening, there's a food court area outside that they have picnic tables, but within the hall itself there isn't any seating for the show.

Hi, Emma! Thank you for the helpful video! A large group of us are traveling to see Marshmello on June 10; we’ve seen him a dozen times in Vegas. We bought VIP tickets but are hoping to buy a table when/if they’re released. It says the doors open at 8pm but do you know when the headliner goes on (approximately), please? Typically doors open at 9 and the headliner is like 1-2am depending on the lineup. The VIP area is on stage left upstairs. You can go in and out as you please and there's definitely more room to dance, but it does fill up for sold out shows. If you're there by like 1030/11 you should be good to go! The tables are on both sides of the stage on the bottom and 2nd floor. Depending on where you're seated, your view could be obstructed.

Nice video. I work in live events, and grew up in audio, so I can't avoid noticing your production. I recommend moving your mic down and away from your mouth. Not only will it get out of the shot, allowing your whole face to be seen, but it will also eliminate the pop noise when speaking.

@@E1234 The security guards there have a major complex and power trip issue. At the show I was mentioning in the comment above, they were actively extorting people in the crowd. I personally had the same security guard approach me with a flash light and patting me down on 5 different occasions. I just attended a show at the Brooklyn Mirage last week and they were a bit more relaxed and it seems like they cleaned house but even some of the one’s present were still acting pissy. I was standing in front of a fan and the venue was filled to the brim with people. The security guard approached me and said I can’t block the fan but there was literally nowhere else I can move but leave the crowd and stand in the lounge area which I absolutely did not want to do. The production is unmatched but the venue as a whole is garbage because of the environment. I have read that security is a lot nicer at house music and big room EDM shows. I strictly attend Dubstep and it does attract a more diverse and rowdy crowd.
