You can start testing now if you would like but if you get your period before a surge is detected then that is usually a sign that you started testing after ovulation occurred. If that happens, start testing again the day after your period ends.

Hi, kind of concerned and need some help. So I’m currently 17dpo, my period was due 2 days ago and I’m never late. Usually a day before my P starts I have cramps and lose my appetite but that hasn’t happened yet. I’m 2 days late, been having faint rusty brown discharge very little since yesterday the day after my missed period. And today I’m spotting a tiny bit of rusty coloured blood and, but not a lot. Usually my periods are extremely heavy but this doesn’t seem like it is my period because I pbarely have cramps and am only bleeding little amounts and the colour is not bright red or dark red. I used a pregnancy test twice today but both negative. Been checking my bbt since ovulation yesterday after 16 days it dipped and today it’s extremely high all day again, at 98.96F right now. Confused, coz I got a a negative barely seems like this is my period due to the low amount bleeding and colour and very mild cramps not severe and bbt has not dropped. Could I be pregnant? Would I have to wait till this bleeding stops before I can test properly? Could this be implantation bleeding hence why a negative? Please help 😊

Implantation spotting typically occurs 6-10 days past ovulation and will only last for 24-48 hours. It’s typically light in color, brown or pinkish, and in minimal quantities. Clots should not appear with implantation spotting. As for the BBT, if you found your BBT spike and have had 18 high temps above the coverline results without a period, this could indicate that you may be pregnant.

I got my first cycle back since having my son. I tested my LH exactly like the directions but it didn’t peak or have any high numbers. Do you have any information on why that could be ? Thank you!

Thank you for reaching out with your concerns. It's quite common for your cycles to be a bit irregular and for hormone levels to vary, especially in the first few months after childbirth as your body adjusts. Not seeing a peak in LH could be due to a number of reasons. It might be that your body is still regulating its hormonal balance, or the timing of the tests might not have aligned perfectly with the app's prediction. You can start by taking a home pregnancy test to see if you are pregnant. On the Premom app, you can upload your pregnancy test results and switch over to our pregnancy tracking mode to track your baby's growth week by week!

If you mean you have found your LH peak, ovulation is likely to occur 24-36 hours after the peak, and the most fertile days are the day before the peak, the peak day, and the day after the peak. Wish you good luck!

My peak is 1.06 is that too low. Is that normal?

If you're referring to a T/C ratio, that's a normal result. Remember to time intercourse during your fertile days to boost your chances of conceiving.

Mine was day 15 Peak dark purple color was reading 1.09 at 7pm.
