HI, Thanks for this! Very informative. I recently lost a significant portion of my vision, and was hoping to find more info about canes, and this has helped a lot!

Can you please explain the difference in a folding aluminium cane versus a folding graphite one?

Thank you for the info! I bought one on eBay and it's nap together but I can't seem to snap back for pieces. I can't get it broken down and I'm about to take a trip so I'm completely confused by it LOL I think a telescoping cane or a simple guide came since I'm not completely blind would have been a better choice! Learning new stuff!

Hi, actually the tip you are talking about is a hook tip, the threaded tip is one that screws on. :)))

You are totally right, thanks for correcting me!

Does anyone know where to get golf pride canes? I got one yesterday and I love it, but I don't know how the person got it was left on a table where people leave things they do not want any more. :)

hi. Thank you so much for the video. It was incredibly helpful and incredibly well organized and detailed. I’m trying to buy a cane for a middle school student who prefers lighter options, I’ve contacted NFB and they said that they don’t have folding carbon fiber canes shorter than 51 inches. I have found fiberglass in the correct size on a different website. would you say that is about as light as a carbon fiber cane? I had a carbon fiber came to show her and that seemed to have been a comfortable weight
@EasierVision4 жыл бұрын
Hi! Yes fiberglass should work, graphite is also very lightweight, and they are common in a folding configuration that makes them very versatile.
