Beyond mind blown. Pile 2. My daughter moved in with her BF’s mom’s family Jan 2 years ago. They just gave birth last week. I asked her if she wanted to come to my house for one week, I planned to take off as much as 2 weeks in case she has a c-section. She told me she wanted that and that she has spoken to her BF, led me to believe everyone was on board. But first I’m gonna say, this is how I know I’m doing everything right bc everything you say that has do be done, I’m already doing and already solved months ago! 🤍 What I wanted to add, an example of love! Having someone to love should be a bonus. In order for the wish of a relationship to not be attachment, you need to feel whole and content with yourself, even accepting that maybe the one will never happen and be ok with that, even while wishing for a specific person to come in. Being open, that it might be someone else with the same energy. Being happy with yourself. It’s ok to grieve what could’ve been, maybe grieving wasted years.
