This may sound cold and unempathetic, but I am saying this to you because it is what helped me stop focusing so much on the person. You really want to find a hobby that you can get lost in. You need to do something that you genuinely enjoy so that you can get lost in it and take your focus off of this person. It also pushes them away when you are hyperfocusing on them from a negative space rather than a loving one. If you worry and stress about them, they can feel that stressful energy and they have enough to deal with on their own, so it will make them want to avoid that stressful energy they are picking up on you (at least for now until you get into a relationship with them, but even then, you don't want to add on baggage to the relationship by not learning how to control your inner stressors). When you're doing something that fills you up in life and brings you joy, even if it's just for an hour, it helps put you in a good mood. When you are a good mood, you are filled with more loving thoughts and energy. It's the loving energy that will pull them towards you. They will accept you for all of you, even the worries you have and the negative energy you can sometimes give off. But until they are actually yours and in a committed relationship with you, you want to find a way to manage that, and you really don't want to be in an unstable place once you do get in a relationship with them.. you need to know how to stabilize yourself so you don't become a Codependent. Codependent relationships only create toxicity.
