I love this anime/manga for many reasons, but one of them is the STYLE in which it's drawn. Especially the eyes. Even though she was supposed to always have this face of no emotion most of the time, I always felt something uneasy when looking into her eyes... I didn't know what it was until that scene when Tanjiro could smell the emotion coming from her and asked, "Are you angry?". With her surprised reaction to being actually seen for once was so.. idk.. emotional for me in some sort of way. And then it all kind of clicked for me, why I always felt uneasy looking into her eyes. It was this anger, and revenge that was hidden, deep in her eyes.

Sadly yes, she dies.
