Barboza is also 6'2 with good aerial ability. I can see him scoring lots of corners since it was in FM23, which make his numbers more believable.

For sure. I had a CB getting 30+ goals a season, plus a regen striker getting 80+ in the same team. Corner cheese was strong. 😂

I’m the owner of the Barboza save and I didn’t save scum, I just used a gegenpress tactic that generated lots of chances, though I can understand why you might think I savescummed because the numbers are a little outrageous. Barboza ended his career with ~900 goals for club and country, and 8 ballon D’ors

Alejandro Barboza is totally believable, well within the realm of possibility. I remember back in FM17 I got a 17 year old Joaquin Ardaiz and he ended up top scorer after only playing 19 of the 30 games in the Norwegian league in my first season with Valerenga. He scored more than 100 goals (in around 55 games overall) twice, with four 90+ goal seasons, I haven't picked up that save in a bit but last time I checked I was 10 seasons in and Ardaiz had more goals than Pele hahaha. If I can get some random Uruguayan striker to score more than Pele, then I think Barboza is totally believable.

Totally agree. I've had a newgen who regularly got close to 50 league goals per season before. This was many seasons into a long term save, by which time my team was absurdly good, which definitely warps what is believable a bit. I'm definitely inclined to believe people. My newgen was one of those boring English names though, Phil Hodgson (sorry to Phils and Hodgsons).

specially with a team as dominant as bayern, its quite easy to feed ur strikers tons of goals, i managed to get Tammy Abraham to 62 goals in 43 starts and 4 sub ons one season in Roma, 40 goals in 28 starts and 4 sub ons in the Serie A, aswell as 21 goals in 14 CL games, theres just alot of goals in the game rly

Totally possible, I bought Emanuel Emegha with Arsenal, and he beat Haaland in his second season. He had almost a goal per match, the offball and heading seem to be a joke.

With the right tactic and a stacked team to create chances, especially in a farmers league like the Bundesliga for Bayern, I can definitely see all those goals tbh.

I had a striker who scored 1000 goals in his career, I mean it was a farmer league, I won ligue 1 with Asse 20 times in a row😅

i have 1 regen and he looks like peter crouch, He has been at my club for 5 years and has an average of 75 goals per season, there was a season in which he averaged 8.22, 2,02 meters

Barbosa has the ultimate goal scoring attributes. Vision at 14 means he's not really interested in passing unless it comes back to him for him to score. If you have domination in your league with your tactic and team players. Then you can funnel as many goals as the striker can score.

I've said this before, and I'm probably in the minority, but the editor pencil icon doesn't make me doubt anyone. Maybe I'm just naive, but there are so many third party editors out there that wouldn't show up in game, that anyone wanting to cheat and show off about it would surely be very foolish to actually use the official in-game editor rather than FMRTE, etc. Seeing the pencil actually makes me think that the player doesn't have anything to hide.

On last years game I did a save where I attempted to 'rebuild' every Premier League club in the same save, which may have been slightly over-ambitious (I made it to Brentford, winning the Prem and Champions League by 55/56). I had some ridiculous newgens in that save but I don't have individual save files for each team. Would it be possible to submit exported team files instead of saves to the google form?

How do people play their starting striker or midfielder all 50 games of the season? Some even more with cups and everything. I use a semi intensive strategy(the red line is in the middle) and I can only play the GK every game, the others are just not at full fitness, so I bring out my second XI and play them for the middle of the league teams, while I go full out on top 10 and UCL/Cup and so on.

Not sure how many videos ahead you've made already, would it be possible to change colour scheme for attributes? Obviously everyone on these lists has 16+ on almost everything important so it's really hard to visually differentiate a guy with 16 or 18 pace. Something like 18-20, 14-17, 10-13 and 1-9 brackets or similar (18-20, 16-17, 13-15, 1-12 if we want to be truly elitist😅) just to separate truly top of the top from "only" world class.

89 goals is possible my st from fm 23 who had 1000 goals by 32 his most goals was 81 in a season but he was 6’0 so heading wasn’t as good as barboza

I use complete fowards and DLFs, but the players I use in those roles still show as AF because, according to their attribute distribution, that's their best role. Anybody who is fast and has good off the ball and holy trinity will usually show as an AF.
