My grandmother was Drusilla Murphy, out of Kentucky. Her father was Elihu Murphy, who fought in the US civil war (as did many Murphys). I believe, that we're descended from John Murphy.

My tenth great grandfather was wound in the civil war he got captured and let go at the end of the war he died in Ohio that’s were he s buried were all from Liverpool in the uk
