your channel has taught me so much that I now have outfitted my 6 remote controlled aircraft with leds. I have a 75 watt soldering station and a multimeter I'm not afraid to use thanks to you. keep up the good work

In regards to LEDs creating EMI, I have seen them turn a car's radio signal to a static hum. After changing reverse lights to some extra bright LEDs, it would have that effect whenever the car was put into reverse. The same brand didn't have any issue with EMI for brake lights or turn signals, but they were different colors.

Wow, that is crazy that it was enough EMI to be heard on the radio. But... I'm curious why the reverse lights would create EMI, unless they have some weird LED driver in there. It should just be a DC signal, right? And the radio would be in the hundreds of kilohertz to megahertz range, why would the LED be operating in that range? Now I'm really curious. Any thoughts?
