I have said so many times that I feel like I’m behind because I’m 43 and while everyone else at 27/28/29 was building their lives, careers, getting married, I was grieving. Both my mom and dad died 4 months apart when I was 27 and it has taken pretty much this long for me to finally feel less weighed down by the grief. I was in survival mode basically my entire 30s. So the fact that you kept saying “you’re not behind” and even in marriage too!! Was huge for me. Pile 3, my therapist literally said yesterday I have had PTSD all these years from my relocating to another country, even though it is not an officially 'traumatic' event. I am not in the winter state anymore but I'm still processing a lot of stress and fear right now. I am definitely headed in a new direction, but I was wondering if I will ever be done with these heavy thoughts and feelings, so thanks for the confirmation. Pile 3 really resonates with me, im so stressed about my finances right now. Im pregnant and getting acupuncture in the last 6 weeks. Last year was pretty rough and i have had the feeling im not in control of my life. its almost scary how accurate you are. While you are channeling i can feel it in my whole body its true (like tingeling). Deck 3: Met a friend for coffee yesterday and the same friend today to see the Avatar movie that is 3 hours long and then a late lunch. We went to an animal fundraiser bingo event last fall which was the first time I'd been out since before the virus came around. So yes, have to have fun too and I'll picture Mrs. Doubtfire when I clean or turn on some fun music, ha ha. I like to just go in a room, pick out a piece of furniture, and start purging things I've had for decades like torn out recipes and finding my mom's handwritten ones and then scanning them and sending to family members. I am purging all over the place, took a load of boxes to a thrift store today, more coming and cutting out low frequency things. It is on!
