Hey when do you think spring salmon are going to start running in the sandy? What do you think of the mouth of the sandy theses next couple of weeks? I was thinking of going an twitching some jigs or bobber an row .. any tips?
@FishingTheOdds5 жыл бұрын
Some guys catch em twitching jigs but if you have eggs fish deep swirly pools under a float. And as far as the timing. Every year is different. Go online and check the Bonneville dam counts. You know fish will be around the sandy when theres fish crossing progressively at Bonneville

They need to just stick to what they used to,and that was strictly release from the clack hatchery,and dog creek,cause ever since they put these acclimation ponds fishing has never been the same,I would love to start a petition to change it back the way it was,when fishing was absolutely phenomenal, I remember 30 fish steelhead days,and the springers used to b just big back fish,and if u look up records since they distributed the acclimation ponds all over,it has gone down,so in my opinion it's broke and needs to b fixed like the old ways they used to released,plus every year just about ,hunting and fishing licenses and tags go up in price but yet the fishing and hunting keeps getting worse,so we are paying for something that has gotten worse but we pay more,it's time for a change and not to mention how much taxes go up to maintain rivers lakes ect,and guarantee one reason gas prices are what they are is road maintenance, park maintenance, and ect part of the gas tax or a large part goes to that exact maintenance also boat ramps,national forests,state parks,county parks,city parks,I hope to whom it may concern u get this and want a change as well,especially on the sea lions,or should we call them river lions

Fantastic camera angles and fish catches. You guys caught some nice ones. Just curious...how do you tell a hen from a buck?
@FishingTheOdds5 жыл бұрын
For me I just look at the facial features. A buck will have a kipe , slightly different jaw at least that's what I see haha a hens face is kind of like smooth from the back to the snout if that makes sense
