My Guruji has explained so well and in all the lectures he has said that cultivate right and correct belief in the intellect. Once it is done then it is very easy to control the mind. We all have knowledge but the reason we are not utilising the intellect because the belief is still not strong and we are getting trapped in Maya and postponing the path of Spirituality. Utilise the three steps to empower the intellect 1. Shravan 2. Mannan 3. Nidhidhyasan Surrender completely to Guru and God. Follow six rules of surrender and every moment analyse the thoughts and actions with these rules for self-improvement. I guarantee you once you do it everyday then life changes completely. Among all the internal machinery we possess, the intellect is supreme. The beliefs we hold in our intellect can control the functioning of our mind. But our intellect has its own limitations; the knowledge it holds is subject to four kinds of defects: karanapatav, bhrama, pramada and vipralipsa. With so many defects inherent, we cannot rely on our intellect that it will take our mind on the right path. The best way is to connect our intellect with a flawless source, that is, with God and a bona fide Guru. हरि भक्ति नौका पै गोविन्द राधे। बैठ जा पतवार हरि को थमा दे।। हरि यदि थामे न तो गोविन्द राधे। पतवार गुरुदेव कर में थमा दे ।।

Wow, mind blowing lecture! The three defects of our mind is anitya, where is gets attached and runs after the temporary things in life thinking that those our permanent, Anatma, where it thinks of itself as the body and not the soul, and dukheshu, or desires for material things that only results in miseries. In order to free ourselves of all these we need to surrender our minds to God, physical practices or austerities are not important, they are there to help us train our minds so we can engage our minds to God and in addition to our minds, we need to surrender our intellect as well. Cant wait to hear more about the process!

I am so grateful I found someone who is teaching about the Vedas!!!! I would like to share that I died in hospital and remained in a coma, and I traveled in the spirit world, when I woke I was a COMPLETELY different person! I know this sounds crazy but I traveled on sound and vibrations in the coma, I know now its the sound of these Sanskrit chants I also played a flute to make an atmosphere to travel on sound with other spirits who were teaching me. We are running around temples around the country as a checklist as if god is going to verify that and allow us to his divine abode after our time is over in this birth.
