‘Awesome weather we’re having, yeah whatever,’ this EP excites me (beyond measure). Thank you, DJ Wicked, for guiding us to and, in part, through this unparalleled work. I’ve listened a few times in full. Profound thanks for helping me expand my vocabulary and thereby my ability to hear and identify sounds and textures, such as the scratch drums you pointed out. I would not have truly _heard_ them otherwise. The smooth opening bars lead me to depths of street scholar lyricism and an ever more cautionary tone, including a notable ten-word PSA punctuated with a proper name: Rick James. At the point of ‘Legit Spit’ the bassline took me very satisfyingly back to DJ Abilities’ ‘Phonograph Phoenix’ (thanks again). Immersed though I was in the bassline… References throughout to the book of Revelation culminated with the stark first words of ‘Better Prepare’ which brought the opening monologue of Curtis Mayfield’s ‘If There's a Hell Below We're All Going to Go’ directly and powerfully to mind. If you can’t feel the closing admonition (decidedly darker and starker than Mayfield’s ‘Hell’) in the back of your throat, you may not be truly listening. The guitar sounds of ‘Symmetry’, woven in with the textural bassline, lend smoothed-out grace and balance to the entire composition while maintaining the sonic and lyrical edge. ‘Extinct’ closes it out with little room for argument. I do not have the skills to identify what I am sure are significant samples within this album but they left an impression nonetheless. And Underdog: Oh la la❤️ Shouts out to Roughneck Jihad and Symatic. And I will be sure to check out Third Sight. Which album do you recommend first? I am thankful for these opportunities to pick up my pen. They *do* give me life. ✨✌🏼

Well said. Third Sight has 4 full-length studio albums. The first one is called “Golden Shower Hour.” So I suppose that would be the typical place to start if you’re planning on listening to their whole catalog in chronological order. Although their 3rd album - “Chillin’ with Dead Bodies in a B-Boy stance” is probably my favorite.
