Much like how Mitsuha and Taki grew up, I suppose my arrangement did as well. I try to be open minded and take the advice from the comments of my new Silhouette video. I wanted more energy on this one while also retaining the new elements in the arrangement. Hope you guys enjoy. Patreon sheets/synthesia for Hero Too and Silhouette will be posted this weekend!

Lets face it. We all made a mistake. When we first watched this, we had no idea what it would be like. we watched it on our laptop/desktop with earphones in. But, after we watched it, we were completely filled with shock. we never knew that some movie could be this well written, well executed, just so unmistakably perfect. Every time we rewatched it, we put it on the large TV screen with surround sound. but it could never fully satisfy us. Because each time we rewatch it, it can't bring back the magic of the original, the first time. you wish you could make every time you watch it as great as watching it for the first time. even if you watch it five times like me, you will never have the same feeling as watching the first time. I wish i could be hit in the head super hard, forget the movie, then watch it for the first time again.

I remember when I first watched this movie. I had heard about it on social media, and somehow I had a feeling that this movie was gonna be beautiful. As I was watching this movie, I had many mixed emotions. There was many things that I could relate to from taki and mitsuha's life and problems. As the soundtrack would play throughout the movie, It made me cry and made me happy, so I guess I was crying out of joy. I remember that the next day, I went on a roadtrip to California. On the way, I remember listening to the soundtrack over and over again, as well as crying and crying over again. But I realized that this movie has made me an even stronger and more creative person than I was before. I'm grateful that I watched this movie because it truly inspired me. Even though its been 4 years, I still find myself (even right now at this very moment) listening to the soundtrack and still feeling a roller coaster of emotions and when I think about....it makes me smile each time :').

I honestly love this arrangement a lot more than the older one. This one feels a lot richer and more open. Even the attention to detail and musical choices were amazing. When you slowed down at 3:10 it was just amazing, and that with the parts of the movie playing in the background was really amazing. Even when you synced the last cord before the ending with the comet explosion was just that little more to make this feel like something special :) Keep up the good work Ishter! I can't wait to see what you do next with this new format!

I remember watching this movie back in early 2017, Your video of Sparkle showed up in my feed and since then, I touched my piano again after finding my new motivation to practice piano. Anime. And you opened the doors to it, which led me to discover other piano anime covers, making me more motivated to practice, discovering that someone was even more crazier at anime piano covers (*cough* animenz *cough*). So no joke, when my notification popped up at 2 am, I cried not only because it reminds me of the movie, but it reminds me this song was the start of it all of how I found my reason to play again. Thank you Theishter... for being an inspiration in my life through piano alone.

i like anime, but i’m not super deep into it. when i watched ‘your name’ for the first time, i was a little skeptical, and i even paused midway through because i got bored. months passed, it was recommended to me again, and i sat down and watched it. late at night, when the movie ended, i was completely awestruck. nothing, not one single piece of media i ever consumed has hit me as hard as this movie has. i was completely devastated, full of hope, and crying my eyes out, every single second until the end. since then, i have been in search of something that could give me even a whisk of that feeling i had when i watched that movie the first, second, third time even. nothing has fucked me over emotionally as hard as ‘your name’ did. it hit me so hard that every time i hear this song, i tear up, my heart sinks and the indescribable feelings build up in my chest again. it’s a story so masterfully written, so beautifully executed, and so devastatingly open. i love it.

This arrangement is very good, but I feel like some of the higher notes didn’t really help build up to the climax of the song because they didn’t feel “full” enough. Maybe if you made it 2 notes instead of the singles it would make it a bit better. One example is 2:01 the high keys just didn’t feel heavy enough if you ask me. Just my preference though.

I started playing your arrangement about 2 months ago. Usually I’m starting to get bored at playing this song after that amount of Practice Time... But this song... It’s different... It’s pure magic... The notes are literally sparkling...

@maskedelitegaming3681 it's easy, animenz arr. Is much harder and painful, play the right hand and left hand slowly if u can't then just imagine that your right hand is playing the notes while ur playing with ur left.

I love the way your hands crossed paths like Mitusha and Taki did in Your Name.
