Legit started crying when i saw it in theaters. Also, that scene was the ONLY time the cinema was completely quiet. Like, usually when you go to cinemas its not completely silent, you have this or that person talking so there's always this soft murmur going on throughout any movie. But this though, it silenced the skeptic, it made a grown ass man shed a tear. This is a masterpiece. Thank you Makoto-sensei for making such a wonderful movie.

The soothing and melodious start, the "calm before the storm" type of quiet and delicate expression during the midsection (in the movie, when Mitsuha stumbles and falls on the ground), then the explosive, powerful music towards the end.
