4 months has passed since i found this song. I really fell in love with it so i just showed it to every new person i met. There were some times when they said "aight, its cool". some others said it wasn't their cup of tea which i totally understand, but there are times when we make a moment and magic just happens, you know? I found this song somewhat recently and I have to say, I love it! Everything about it is great the vocals and lyrics are really good, the drums are great and I love how they change things up a bit. The bass guitar and lead and rhythm guitars are awesome as well especially towards the end! There is even some really nice keyboard in there, and, of course, a KILLER saxophone solo! I have been trying to transcribe this song but there is so much going on its pretty tough... I do have a couple questions. At the very start of the song, we hear a person talking, and they say something like "and the next day, I k-[?] woke up to the police knocking on my door, saying I need to come with them right away. I found out then, uh, that he shot himself -- in the head" there is also some dialogue at the end of the song which is much clearer to make out but after the dialogue the voice gets really muffled and the keyboard is playing over it and I can't make out what it is saying -- It might even just be repeating the last few lines of the dialogue with a lot of effects. What are these voice lines from? What is the significance of this within the song? Thank you for a great song!
