This sucks, man. After leaving highschool I never had close friends. There was a time where I feel really down and all that bs, but no one was there for me. Now here I am, undergraduate and anxious. Went to prom once cuz i got asked out by a senior (i was a sophomore and only juniors and seniors could go unless someone lower got asked out by either group), and she took the opportunity to ruin the experience for me entirely by pretending that she passed out in order for us to leave. Since I was a sophomore, i couldn't stay. Never went to prom after that cuz A i never had a date to go with and B it felt like any other regular school dance. Nothing special at all. Dont let my story discourage you from going tho. Just venting my experience here while staring at this bottle of Zzzquil
