Oh, like they would have threats commonly faced in Ostoya and specific noble houses from either Raevo and Soma. Background and traits depending on where you're from? Gothic themed monster transformation? Subclasses specific to the region? (Abit too far fetched since there is the Player's guide, but I can dream) Maybe a little more depth to the Ravencourt sanctuary?

We need this! I would add a 3rd starting point for players. One that is another member of the crimson court that the players can work under. Their overall goal would be to remove both factions without the other crimson court member actions known

A third optional main faction of Aether kindred cultists to take over the city that will be the best choice for the people for the foreseeable future. But if they take over the city, the Aether kindred would be one step closer to taking over the world.

In my home game (where this adventure was first written) the Cathedral does have an aether kindred living in the catacombs. A cult has co-opted the congregation to worship it instead. … the idea simply didn’t fit in the video, but Aether Kindred can certainly be introduced. 🐙

Make it happen Ben! I love your delivery in these videos and I love the Grimm Hollow setting. This would be an outstanding addition to an already excellent setting. I would add, while I am pleased with the 5e rule set, I don't necessarily like the direction the softer direction D&D has moved in general terms. Grimm Hollow gives me the gritty, dark, a challenging feeling I like in my game. Not everyone wants to be a fairy princess. Although I would think Grimm Hollow's fairy princess would stab you in the neck with a poisoned blade as you kiss her, awakening her from her slumber.

An addition I would like to see is a greater expression of the internal court politics of the Crimson Court. Varlov is the weakest Court member and is likely to be the target of machinations and plots from other Court members. Perhaps the Party might be approached by a 'mysterious benefactor' through intermediaries who seek the downfall of Varlov but are not aligned with Raevo. Perhaps the party can, through investigation, discover that these agents work for another member of the Crimson Court, and should they discover this and prove themselves capable enough, maybe they could even be incentivised by the offer of taking a step closer to receiving the vampiric embrace if they eliminate Varlov, though whether or not this other Court member can be trusted to follow through on that promise is an open question.

I'm down with the plan, we're just finishing up a long run in the Valikan North (Frostmaiden Campaign) and the party want to fix up the Dark Duches and head south, Burach Empire and Ostoya, so any extra fleshed out campaign or adventures there in would be kindly appreciated. Specific points of interest regarding magic and a licence to cast from Erlfort (Hogwarts?) and Castalore (mysterious Wizard tower Game of Thrones) would be wicked. I’m working on a campaign involving tracking a murderer named Glyzen The Heartless. She murders members of an assassin-hunting Inquisition. She brutally murders them, cuts open their chests, smashes their ribs, and takes their hearts out. The players must collect clues and figure out who exactly she’s targeting. By the end of the campaign, only a single assassin hunter is left alive, and the players are hired to protect him. Glyzen The Heartless shows up and guts the last assassin hunter, then she tries to convince the players to look the other way, since they aren’t assassin hunters. When asked why she’s killing assassin hunters, she says, “My brother was an assassin, and he was driven out of this city by these assassin hunters. My brother always had a keen nose, and one day, he will find his way home by the smell of the bodies.”

A player with a dozen or more character sheets. Each one is a cleric hellbent on destroying all the undead. The other players shall know that asking for a heal is meaningless. Since, these clerics have only the intent of going full nova, or keeping themselves in the fight.

The adventure can't be that linear. As districts choose for the PC's side, the other side sees it happen and is doing nothing in response? There needs to be a reaction. Me, I would have 5 districts, one is likely to side against the PCs. One maybe never picks sides. Three is the tipping point, so make it dynamic. And have someone try to undo the work in one of the districts that the PCs gain for their own side. It also seems like the perfect campaign for a rival group. If they're just openly against the PCs they die in a battle. But if they're aligned with the PCs and yet have different motives, they might tip the neutral district against the PCs by going too far or growing a conscience (depending on which way the PCs are going).

So both folks are right. Citadel of the Unseen Sun is a continuous (are rather in depth) adventure module set in Ostoya. Individual episodes can be run on their own, but they are written as one story. ‘Saga of the Seasons’ is a Valikan adventure module, living a year in the life of your own Valikan Clan. ‘Raiders Guide to Valika’ is the setting book, which provides more contextual lore and new player options.

I think it'd be better if you made a game for Grim Hollow so people who don't want to attempt horror in DnD 5e can actually play something that better fits the setting. I understand it's not going to happen because 5e is the holy cash cow, but it's just a little sad to continue to see so much content being forced into dnd even when many other options either already or exist or could be made for the unique and interesting world y'all have made.
