Yeah, the GTX 1650 is good, and honestly, it is the last Nvidia GPU I will use until I switch to an Intel Arc or AMD GPU. I really despise how crappy the quality of these GPU's are, it is getting to where I would downgrade to a GTX 1080 ti if I had a PC and not a laptop.

It's 2024 I'm still rocking my old 1060 6gb that was used when I got it (from my sibling who didn't have use for their PC anymore) but it runs a lot of games pretty well at 1080p as long as they aren't new releases graphically demanding/triple A titles. This lineup was truly ahead of it's time

I'm sorry if you can't afford to have something similar, I thought it was a pretty dated ''gaming'' card by today's standards (which is true to some extent) but it still also is able to run games pretty well, I don't know where you're from or what your living condition is like but I hope one day you'll get to enjoy games smoothly without a problem because I know how it feels having been there before (and even till now sometimes I face problems with newer games 😅). Over here a whole pc with this spec and a possibly decent 8-10th gen intel cpu I'd imagine is somewhere around 200-300USD (depending on where you get it from or if you can get a good deal)

3060ti, 4060, 3070, 3070ti suffer for major VRAM bottlenecks. When there is not enough VRAM there are issues. Some games stutter, some games load blurry textures, some games crash, some do all of it. Those cards are either for esport players, who aim for high fps in non demanding esport titles, or people who don't mind spending extra bucks and don't care or don't mind the issues. 8GB VRAM allows to only go up to high@FHD without raytracing while getting the smooth experience. Beyond that, the games still work with decent average fps, but there will be aforementioned issues. Despite it works, most of the time at least, it is just not good overall experience, unless the details are lowered. Which makes little sense to get such powerful card, just to lower the details because of VRAM.

​@@mstrdr3 Depends how you look on it. For a budget build it would be more than a decent deal. However the powerful GPUs get 8GB too. I'd say 8GB of VRAM is fine up to RTX 3050/2060 super. Which is still a decent performance though. Above that, VRAM is just becoming a bottleneck. Don't get me wrong, you can play just fine with 8 GB. But what is the purpose of something as strong as 3060ti, 4060 when it has issues in games due to 8GB. I guess it only makes sense for gamers targeting high refresh rate + low/medium details. Despite all that, many people just don't notice that anything is off, when they get stutters, or smudged textures. So for many this issue does not exist. Heck, people used to play ~20 fps in the 90s and no one was noticing that something was off. So in the end, it is a personal matter whether this is an issue or not. The only thing I'd recommend is to not overspend on any 8GB card. Either go for a true low end and with 8 GB, or go all in, and get at least a 4070. There is also a middle way, which is 3060 12 GB. It has plenty of VRAM, the performance is not the worst, but not great either. Yet it is a gen behind already, and soon will be 2 gens behind. The joke is, that much better cards like 3060ti and even 3070ti got only 8GB. 8GB makes them having aforementioned issues in demanding titles which they were made for in the first place, and also not future proof at all.
